for my writing class, i have to write a very long, very GOOD essay. but im basically stuck on the topic.

affirmative action?
racial profiling?
im thinking of dong racial profiling and it's relation to drug offenses.

i dunno...any ideas? it can be ANYTHING of social or political importance.

ANYTHING of social or political importance? there are a whole HOST of topics to choose from.

how about shady american forigen policy

how about something to do with enron?

political campaign financing.

media influence. (pick anything for this. politics, the so called "anorexia problem" caused by the media, the desensitising of the populous to violence or whatnot)

political corruption

if youre allowed to do stuff involving a more global view, that expands your list of topics even more.
