hey... for my school photo class, i'm doing a series on fear. i was wondering if anyone had ideas of pictures i could take for this project? or even a better project i could do? thankee.

i may not be able to help but ill try...im a big fan of photography as well.

what's it gotta be, anything? people? inanimate objects? are there rules?

black and white is my favorite. i'll think about it...the only thing i came up with so far was -
cat eyes.

i dont know, maybe its just me but i think cats always look kinda frightened. the fact that my cat always looks afraid freaks me out slightly too.

that idea might suck, but ill try and help ya out some more..

just gotta think.

so far my ideas are:
*looking at someone through a keyhole
*a boy holding flowers behind his back, scared to give them to a girl
*spiders
*graveyard
*someone under the shadow of a ladder
*someone peeking out of a closet
*a hand on someone's shoulder, with the person looking freaked out
*someone surrounded by freaky looking porcelain dolls

you could probably do some with the theme of "under the bed"...like draw some scary looking monsters, put a flashlight under it so it's all freakily lit (under the bed) and try that? playing with the lighting would be the fun part.

maybe do something "psycho"-like...a person behind a shower curtain, chocolate syrup in the bathtub, that kinda thing.

oooh, and fear of crowds and crowded places...get a group of people and lie down in the middle and have them all stare at you...lighting would be an issue if there's a big clear spot where they're circled, so get a meter reading off one of the people so they show up clearly rather than being too dark.

that's a fun assignment. we never got to do fun stuff like that. and you're making me miss taking photo!

thanks for the ideas.
i hope it'll be a fun assignment... if not, i can always change. the only requirement is black and white film... i can do whatever i want for the project.

Take a bunch of pictures of people and ther mullets...I know it's been done before, but it's still waaaaay scary...
