My weekend plans include...Having some sex, drinking Mackinac Island Fudge coffee, trying not to smoke cigarettes, watching the Monk show on USA, painting the spare bedroom, finishing up a 16 page sales brochure, maybe more sex, and then I am going to sit on the couch and watch college basketball. Man, that's a lot of typing to really say "I have no plans."

Land, money, a girl, that can be understood. Now war over god, that's a whole different issue. There is no way I can justify a war over who has a better invisible friend.

I think one day weekends (such as the ones i have quite frequently... as in every weekend) are the worst things ever. because you have to do and see EVERYONE in the space of like, 36 hours (which for me includes saturday night & all sunday).so i hung out with all my friends at different times, played my guitar which i hadn't done in two weeks, and i stressed about stuff that i shouldn't, but can't help, because i want it SOOO much. so yeah.

friday afternoon i drove around randomly, talked to my boyfriend on the phone for a really long time, watched the apollo 13 part of "from the earth to the moon," and ate the greatest artichoke ever.saturday i hung out with my friend Maria, who i hadn't seen for over a year. we saw "she loves me" at UCLA, watched "Matilda," ate french fries and pizza, and i did a photo shoot of her for my class. we were gonna go to the beach, but it got late and cold. i stayed up until midnight talking to my friend Matt online, and it was the best conversation ever. if anyone recalls, i used to be completely head over heels in love with Matt. well, now we're both taken, and just the closest friends ever. it is wonderful. all the pain he put me through was totally worth it for the relationship we have now. today i somehow slept until 3:45 pm. what the hell? then i got up, made myself a sandwich, watched Jacques Torres and Jamie Oliver on food network, read more about the war in the paper, got in a fight with my parents over whether the Iraqi people are "civilized" (of COURSE they are! they aren't bloody savages!), and watched the oscars. the rendition of "all that jazz" the orchestra played when chicago won an award was horrible and made me want to kill fuzzy things. next friday is continUUm, so expect a much more interesting description of THAT weekend.
