I am sick and tired of getting ZERO replies to all the applications and resumes i have handed out trying to get a full-time summer job. I have applied to just about everywhere in and around Hamilton that i would be even remotely eligible for. I have tons of experience and am willing to work 12 hour day/night shifts (which is what i did at the local steel factory last summer). I mean who can say no to someone that actually WANTS TO WORK THE NIGHT SHIFTS?!?!?! I have tons of training in WHMIS/MSDS, and other safety in the workplace training....these companies could save their money by hiring me becaues i dont' need to be trained....just throw me on a forklift and off i'll go.....
Or better yet, put me in an office and let me zip through all the letters i need to proof read and/or type out.....
I have lots of experience with special needs children as well as brain injured adults...HIRE ME AS A CAMP COUSELLOR....or some sort of child assistant....
just COME ON....someone please hire me.i just needed to vent a little...
