Essentially? Spyware. But instead of repeatedly opening LimeWire, bombarding you with porn or indeed being a freakish purple talking Gorilla, it tracks the music you listen to then shows you other geeks who listen to the same stuff, makes recommendations, compiles charts, and so on.

Ohhh.. i see. Does it monitor all music playing programs? I mostly use Winamp and iTunes.. but sometimes Windows Media player..

I believe there are different PlugIns for each program... I only use WinAmp though, and to be honest Paul, I'm a little surprised and a wee bit disgusted that you use Media Player. I bet you also use Internet Explorer instead of FireFox and have an "I <3 Bill Gates" shirt don't you?

Only media player for that evil stuff encoded to use it only.. haha. I use firefox damnit!!
